Certain words in English have the same pronunciation, but with different spelling AND different meanings!!

These errors include writing:

• "too" as "to"
  
• "when" as "went"
  
• "here" as "hear" (vice versa)
• "then" as "than", etc.

I find it very irritating when I came across these mistakes REPEATEDLY. I know sometimes we make mistakes (typing error, etc.), but if the same error can be seen multiple times on a passage, you know that person needs some kind of attention. Not like those kind of medical attention. I mean, they need to be corrected, and someone has to step in and correct them before it becomes a bad habit.

However, who would even want to do the honour, other than their English Teacher?
