Selamat Hari Raya ppl! Actually I don’t feel like blogging anymore, but then… First day raya, after solatul Eid at Toa Payoh stadium, cik amat sent us to Mak Long house and lepak there for the whole day (as usual). For some reason Mr Tomato was laughing and smiling when Rifai’e was playing with him and when my mum talked to him after we left the stadium. Maybe he really felt the victory after fasting the whole month of Ramadhan. By that, I mean Anaqi had joined us for almost every Sahur & iftar. I took a video of him laughing in the car (maybe will upload it someday, or maybe not!). Anyway since we have a Mak Andam ‘in da house’, everyone started making up (hahaha there’s no such word, isn’t it?)… I mean putting on make up. Honestly, this is my first time putting on make up during Hari Raya (& my second time wearing make up). So yeah, ppl tend to give comments on it. And this year, other than Amirul Anaqi, we have another addition to the Tok Mamat’s family; Rizq Dania...

Teman-teman masih ingat sama KIKI enggak? Kiki yang pernah nyanyikan lagu Sebelum Cahaya di pentas Idola Cilik 1. Kini Kiki udah kembali, suaranya juga berbeda (udah akil baligh). Hahaha I feel weird typing like that. Anyway Kiki (Rizky P. Egeten) made his appearance on Idola Cilik 2 with another originally-sang-by-Letto song, Lubang di Hati. Well, his voice is a bit weird though. Hahaha Obiet is good too, such a soothing voice he has. Sadly, he didn’t win the competition. He only managed to get to the top 4. I’ve played this video for lots of times already. My other two favourite videos: Laskar Pelangi & Suara (Ku berharap). To efi: If you’re reading this, Kiki has grown a little since last year. Watching Talentime (a film by Yasmin Ahmad) was frustrating. Not the film that disturbed me, but the subtitles by ASTRO. I mean, seriously, they've got to improve on it. Oh and it's quite irritating when they censored some words, I just can't understand the scene then. The whole film was alright. I was deeply moved by its ending. Somehow, my eyes became watery. Let me emphasise again; its watery , not teary. Especially when they played the song 'I Go', and now I'm totally in love with both the English version of the song (I Go) and its Malay version (Pergi) - both sang by Aizat. Spend some time to listen to it. One of the part that I like is when there's this Datin who was still freaked out that her friend had a Chinese person to help them cook and things like that. When she found out that the person was a Muslim, she was shocked and asked, "But why is she still called Mei Ling? Why didn't she change her name?" And the answer given was, ...

This is a weird feeling . To feel so many things at the same time, it's overwhelming . Seriously, I'm crapping . And it rhymes... HAPPY, Because I managed to fix my comp, which died months ago. Guess what I did? Took out the motherboard battery! Only the RAID couldn't be used. So can't use my another hard disk. FRUSTRATED, Because I'd just packed my speaker in its box, thinking that the comp has died, for eternity. But no worries, I can make do with the speaker. HAPPY, I've finished my competency test. Not that I'm confident that I'll pass every component, but at least I need not worry about it anymore. Anyway I'm satisfied with my ret today. =D SAD, If I didn't manage to pass all the components of competency test; and all the other tests too. FRUSTRATED, There's still reports and presentation to be done. HAPPY, Tomorrow will be the last presentation of the semester, and there's only one more LONG report need to be handed up. HOLIDA...

I’d just finish watching Tranformers – Revenge of the Fallen . It’s SUPER COOL . It might be quite long, 2+ hours, but who cares as long as it’s ACTION PACKED ! Enjoyed it so much. There are those funny parts too..A good thing, not too much romance. A disadvantage of watching movies at home – you tend to get distracted ; people wants to talk to you, asking you something; Or maybe you just couldn’t hear them properly to understand what on earth they are blabbering about. My solution, stuff your ears with earpiece and tell the person who tried to talk to you, “I’m watching a movie down here. Stop distracting me, okay!” Anyway, I don’t get it why people say that Megan Fox is HOT . Seriously, I find her quite normal, but beautiful. Not the piping hot kind. Around 2 weeks ago, a boy sang a birthday song to me. Here it goes: Happy Birthday Kak Nisa Happy Birthday Kak Nisa Allahu Akbar! Ahh... how’s that? That was least expected by my sister & I. And that boy’s name was RIZQIN. Okay, so around 10am today, my aunt had safely gave birth to her third son. A disappointment, another boy . But Hey, you can’t push away Rezeki from ALLAH. Another JULY baby. Soon, my another aunt shall give birth to her fifth child. I heard it’s another boy. Wow boys again ... School is okay... Received comments from my lecturer. My grade is really AVERAGE . Sad, but that’s the fact. I wonder whether I can still continue with this course and take it as my career or not. If I were to change course, what should it be? No more EXAMS, hooray...but projects, reports & presentations are queuing up. What’s more COMPETENCY TEST is coming! And it’s only the first semester of third year. Guess what? I’m officially 20 now! Oh my, the number seems big (for now)..but then, they are just numbers . They don’t mean much. As long as I know that I’m still CUTE ( Hahaha ), it won’t bother me much. Okay, someone might be disturbed with that. School is going to reopen real soon, and the only thing that I’ve revised is Bernard’s lecture notes, which I found that I don’t really understand. Haha I had a great fun last night, thanks to my friends (MAI Ex-classmates). It has been quite some time since the last time we meet up. The noisy ones – as usual – Ain, Dian & me. ^_^ The main reason for the meet up is because Fathimah is setting off for UM tomorrow, so she wanted to meet up few friends before going the (& be a Malaysian) – hahaha no, I’m just kidding. Well, there goes one more kid going off to U, while I’m still stuck at POLY. So we’re supposed to meet at 5pm @ Bedok interchange, but for me, as usual I was late – purposely. Ain wanted to eat Dark chocolate truffle (Yum Yum, our favourite) so we decided to get one to satisfy our cravings . Firstly, yes, I love LETTO . Sebelum Cahaya is still my number 1 favourite song despite of the several new English & Malay songs queuing up in my music playlist. Secondly, I would say LETTO has made a very creative music video. Embedded here is a MV from their latest album LETHOLOGICA , entitled Senymanmu. I would say it’s very creative. Hey hey… Finally I got the chance to enjoy my holiday because there’s no need to come to school as there are no subjects coming in. A good news in one way and a bad news if viewed from another dimension. Anyway, I always find that when it’s during the school term, I’ll tend to spent lots and lots of time in front of the computer doing you-know-what. Yet when holiday comes, I’ll just sit in front of the computer, just staring at the screen waiting for some ideas to pop up or so. Guess what, I’ve been thinking about this for a month, and still yet to come out with a decision. I’ve been wanting to buy for myself an IPOD TOUCH. Normal price is $388, but I can get it for only $357 at Epicentre @ SP’s Business block. One side of me said I really really want it , but my another side (i.e. the good side) keeps telling me that it’s a waste , just keep your money for something else. Well, what do you think? I’m now in a bus travelling back home. With a Laptop on my lap (DUH!) and a box of donuts beside me…Oh, how I love donuts! Our Business Retail presentation is on this coming Thursday. We’re the first group to present and we’d just finish editing the slides today (Just how pro we are!) Oh my, just how I hate Projects; be it a normal module project, or a Final Year Project – I just hate it man. This blog has been abandoned for so long. No updates, no readers. I'd just returned from a 3D 2N camp last weekend. It was a combined Floorball/Hockey Recruitment camp. I thought the response would be poor, but I was wrong. Although from the hockey side there was only 25 people who signed up for the camp, from floorball side itself there was 75 campers. Apart from that, there were also people who signed up and paid for it but didn't attend it. Even though it was a successful camp, lots of things had happened. Conflicts, misunderstanding, back-stabbing and lots more. I'm disappointed in some people, and I'm proud of some. Sometimes I feel like I don't know who to trust and who not to. I'm not sure who are my friends and who's my enemy who'll just stab me from my back when I'm not looking. Floorball training shall resume this Saturday. Was supposed to have a training this morning, but I was just plainly lazy to go out all the way to Dover to go to the GYM. With only 3 people coming, so discouraging. Okay, actually I had been planning to update this notice board (in case you don't get it, it's really a notice board) since the first week, but guess what? 2 weeks had already passed! The first day isn't a good start for the semester. As I've mentioned before, my first session was CLINIC . Dang, my world felt like crushing on me. I got 2 patients in the morning, which on the bright side, is a good thing I get to fill my quota. On the other side, I feel like a total idiot , who's just clueless on what to do. Seriously. Overall, this 2 weeks have been a hectic week. And I'm sure that there's a lot more to come. The best is yet to come... My Wednesday is crazy . I'll be having lesson all the way from 8am to 3pm . By right, it's only 10am to 1pm. But because I chose my GEMS from 1pm to 3pm, so that's why. Supposedly there's no class from 8am to 10pm, but because we want an early holiday we changed the only Friday class which was 8 to 10 to W...

I have about 30 hours to switch myself to study mood. Monday is a dreadful day, the first thing in the morning of my first day, I'll be having CLINIC ! *sobs*sobs*sobs* I haven't revise anything. I'm not prepared. I guess tomorrow I'll have to utilise my day fully; Revise what had been taught for the past 2 years. Start sorting my notes for easy references. Stop slacking! LAST THURSDAY; For the first time in my life, I hang out with my friends for the WHOLE DAY (for 12 hours), doing nothing. After 2 hours of playing badminton, we had our Lunch at Food Culture. Then we walk around the newly built Shopping Mall (Tampines1). After that we went to TM and hang out till night. I can't believe I did that! Full stop.

School is going to start real soon and I'm not ready prepared for year 3 AT ALL. Have I mentioned that we're going to change class ? So yeah, after 2 years being together, suddenly the NEW management thought that it'll be better to change class (so that we get along with everyone, that sorts of craps, blah blah blah). Luckily, some of the Batam-ers are my new classmates, yay! Quite a few of them actually, so that saves the time getting along with each other. There's 2 dreadful things that I'm not looking forward to this third year. Firstly, FYP - Final Year Project. I haven't read the handout Ms Yeoh gave, it's still in the email. Untouched. My group members are not my clique of friends. I just don't like the first 2 words - makes me scared. The other dreadful thing is, COMPETENCY TEST . It's a test to test how competent are you in your clinical skills. It's really strict and tough, and can cause people to just have an emotional brea...

Yay, Finally ITP has ended & we'll get a week of HOLIDAYS ! Gosh, I've been waiting for this day to come. Here's a "Brief" update on last week's activity. There was nothing much to do after we're back from Batam. After a week of clinic duty, we're supposed to do our Post-Batam things, which are: unpacking, Data Entry & some other stuff which I'm not involved (such as sort pictures, do videos & do a handmade thank-you cards for our sponsors). I was only asked to do the Data Entry. That Monday was an OFF DAY , because we've had a long week. The day before, which was Sunday, we had a BBQ at East Coast Park. They ordered so many food that I wasn't able to eat much, hahaha it's ironic. I left the crime scene at 11pm while the rest, I don't know. I heard some of them left the scene around 3am ! Tuesday, we were back in SPOC. Amazingly, we managed to finish the whole Data Entry within ONE DAY! So the rest of the week we sp...

Funny how only few days have passed and I've started to miss BATAM. The chalet, the screening site, the hotel breakfast, the excitement, everything... The thing is, not only me who miss BATAM. The whole DOPT Batam OITP group miss it. It was our first clinic in SPOC, but everyone's minds are still in Batam. Maybe it's the bond that we've created whilst we're over there that made us united, or maybe it's just that there were no major arguments that broke out and everyone live in peace under one roof; maybe it's the stress-free environment we're in that made us miss it, or it's just that we feel at home over there. Clinic just now was quite okay, since my patient is not a difficult one [can't say much, Patient confidentiality]. But there's no patient in the second slot that gave me a free time. Btw, we all look like professionals in our clinic coat. Hahahaha . I will post the pic we took just now when they've uploaded it on facebook. Ergh...

Kekasih yang dulu hilang, kini dia telah kembali pulang. 7 days had passed very quickly that I didn't feel it. Yes ppl, I'm back from BATAM! Seriously, I wish that we could stay there a bit longer; like what Ridzuan said, "This OITP is a hidden holiday." There was a nice room to sleep, a comfy bed, air-conditioned. Oh btw, we managed to screen 1,958 people within 5 days! Marha marha. There were altogether 28 of us, including the 4 lecturers, 3 chalets of 3 rooms each. Sadly, I got into the chalet with the lecturers. But the good thing is there are lesser ppl in our chalet. Waking up wasn't much of a problem because I had to do my Subuh Prayers anyway. The breakfast is nice, buffet provided by the hotel. The lunch was fairly acceptable; but the dinner is super a lot to me, the rice I mean. I spent more time helping my friends in communicating with the patients rather than screening them. The good thing: you gain knowledge on management & history taking....

Results will be out on Monday. Doesn't matter, coz I'll not be in Singapore anyway. I didn't sign up for the SMS service on purpose , because I won't want to spoil my mood, thus affecting my performance while I'm in Batam. For a week, starting tomorrow I won't be in Singapore. Therefore, I won't be online. Sadly, I couldn't join SEC 5 2006 gathering. *sobs sobs* Feelings right now, kind of scared. Not confident enough with my skills. Haven't finish packing, still got some stuff to add in the bag. I brought like don't know how many pieces of Tees because I don't think that I'll be diligent enough to wash my clothes over there. The bag is BIG. I'm bringing a hiking bag just because I don't know what bag to bring. I think the space won't be enough for me to stuff everything inside. Hahaha. That's normal isn't it? Nevertheless, What makes me more scared is that CLINICS will start the week right after the Batam Trip...

I woke up quite late this morning, to be precise almost NOON. I don't know why but I seemed to be so tired yesterday. Must be because of the shots I received - Typhoid & Influenza. Woke up VERY early yesterday, 5.45am [It might not be that early to some ppl, but to me, it is]. I set the Alarm clock at 5.30am, but couldn't hear it. [No WONDER my sis is so pissed with me]. We were supposed to meet at Novena MRT station at 7.30am. According to Miss Yip's first expectation, we need to be PUNCTUAL. Sadly, when I reached around 7.25am, there was only 3 people ! Miss Yip, Choy Peng & Mingxuan. By 7.30am, there was only around 10 people! We left Novena MRT station at 7.55am and quickly headed off to TTSH for the vaccination. After the vaccination, some of them went to the Pharmacy to get anti-malarial pills. They took like almost 1 hour, which I thought was very long, until I heard that a GUY actually fainted . By the time we left TTSH, it was already 10.30a...

ITP is finally here and it's the third day today! On Monday we did some bonding games and Language class. Tuesday, Language class revision & VA taking. Well out of those days, I LOVE today the most. We started our day doing cover test, which I think that I still need a lot of practice on it (especially the measuring part). Then we looked at some gross pictures [all those tumours, infections of the eye]. Trust me, it's really gross. There was nothing much to do, thus we requested for early lunch [half an hour early]. Thought of going Foodcourt 3 as most stalls at FC 2 is closed, except McDonalds & a Chinese mixed rice stall. But after being psyched by Arthur & Ridzuan, I decided to follow them to Clementi . We ate at LJS - oh my, it was just yesterday I told myself that I haven't eat LJS for quite some time, and I got to eat it today. Anyway, I can't believe it. Waahh enjoy nampak, mentang2 la exam dabis, mentang2 la da cuti... I've been filling in my free time playing fifa 09 [it's a soccer game; not you, afifah] and watching movies. & it had made my mum quite pissed with me.. Watched slumdog millionaire yesterday. I think it's not bad, quite cool actually; lots of flashbacks. Not forgetting the hindi movie 'trademark' - joget ramai-ramai @ the end of the show. Ponyo...Sousuke...suki!
